I’ve said it before that every summer we have an abundance of watermelon and because of that I’ve had to try and find the quickest and easiest way to cut, prep and store our watermelon so it doesn’t go to waste.
I cut off all the skin trying to waste as little watermelon flesh as possible and then storing it all so we can have it on hand whenever we want some.
Prepping and storing them this way makes it easier to make any of my 14 watermelon treats (you can find the recipes here), plus it’s more convenient if all the prep is done when you want a quick healthy delicious snack there and then or when you are on the go.
